In 1989, realizing the needs in the market place for fast hard drive data duplication, ICS started the development of a technology to enable data copy through hardware. This solution would be a break-away from the only known solution used up until then which was through software. This new hardware solution would be an enhancement over the features of software for ease-of-use and speed. The first fast, stand-alone hard drive duplication unit, based on ICS' unique technology, was released in 1991. That technology, which was patented by ICS, then became the platform for the company’s future products.

To date ICS has released four generations of the Image MASSter line of products, thus establishing the standard for hard drive duplication world-wide.

Since then the Image MASSter line has gained international name recognition and is providing numerous solutions with a variety of products for different markets segments.

PC and Electronic manufacturers throughout the world have been using ICS industrial units on their production lines for more than twelve years. Compaq, HP, Foxconn, Bell Micro, FIC, IBM, Samsung, Samsung and are just a few of such manufacturers who use the Image MASSter units as a method for fast, reliable and efficient duplication. The new Image MASSter 4008 is the latest generation of ICS industrial units that can duplicate eight hard drives at a time at transfer rates exceeding 2.2GB per minute.

Large and Medium Sized Corporations have been using the same or smaller industrial Image MASSter units as essential tools for their IT departments. Corporations such as Fed Ex and UPS, US Postal Services, American Express, AT & T, Bank of America, Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, Warner Brothers, Fox and Disney represent some of these companies. Besides the IM4008, the Image MASSter 4000 series also includes the IM4004 and IM4002 that can duplicate one to four and one to two hard drives respectively.

Aside from duplicating regular IDE hard drives, ICS units can copy a variety of other media that are available in the market today. Its Image MASSter 4000 series as well as ICS hand held units can, by using special adapters, copy laptops’ hard drives, Compact Flash Cards, Serial ATA drives and other solid state modules.

Image MASSter 3002 and Image MASSter 3004 have been designed for SCSI Hard Drives Users but can also copy, using special adapters both IDE and Serial ATA drives.

The Image MASSter 3000 SATA unit will copy data from one Serial ATA to Four Serial ATA drives in a speed of 1.6GB per minute.
